HNCO / Hospice of Knox County and Mount Vernon Players are partnering to present a special two-week series of events, October 26-Nov 5, 2023. The collaboration will commence on October 26, from 6-8PM with the He(Arts) for Hospice Art Gala featuring artwork donated by local artists. The artwork on display will be part of an online Art Auction where patrons can bid on their favorite pieces for the duration of the two weeks. The Gala is FREE and open to all in the community.

Following the Art Gala and preview will be a production of The Canterville Ghost performed by the Mount Vernon Players at 8PM. The Canterville Ghost is a play by Oscar Wilde and presented with permission by The Dramatic Publishing Company. It is a story of forgiveness, love, and a child who befriends a mischievous ghost trying to scare the family back to America. Tickets for the play on October 26 are limited and must be purchased in advance.

Additional show dates and purchase options are available on our website. November 5 will wrap up the series of shows with Afternoon Tea and an encore production of The Canterville Ghost.

The gallery space will be open throughout the two weeks for visitors to view the artwork in person before they bid if they so desire. A catalog of the pieces will be available online and in print.
